The Laval University Robotics Laboratory participated in the exhibition Exploring 3D printing presented by Quebec City at the Maison Hamel-Bruneau in the fall of 2019. This exhibition allowed visitors to discover the use of 3D printing in different fields: architecture, design, fashion, music, medicine, visual arts and of course robotics.

Several mechanisms realized in the Robotics Laboratory with the FDM technology (Fused Deposition Modeling) were exposed: underactuated robotic hand, deployable mechanism, tendon-driven hand, Platonic solid. The exhibition also presents some examples of statues printed using the Large-Scale Cable-Suspended 3D Foam Printer developed at the Robotics Laboratory.
