Research Thrusts

The research activities of the laboratory are mainly focussed on the study of parallel mechanisms and articulated robot hands, two areas in which the laboratory has acquired an international reputation. Our research also includes projects on walking robots, deployable mechanisms, the use of rapid prototyping in robotics and other areas.
